Men’s Shed

A Men’s Shed is a place where men can meet new people, make new friends, learn new skills, share skills with others and contribute to their local community. The Kooweerup Men’s Shed is no different – we welcome men of all ages to come and spend time with others in a relaxed, informal setting.

From car restorations to making toys, cooking to computer work, there are many different ways that men spend their time in the shed. Some men simply come to enjoy a coffee and the company of other men.

Community Garden

Our community garden brings people together to grow and harvest beautiful fresh food. It’s a great place to come for some physical activity, and to meet other like-minded locals.

Forged through a partnership with Kooweerup Secondary College, community members and Kooweerup Regional Health Service, our community garden welcomes all locals to come and have a dig in our raised garden beds.

As well as growing vegetables, our garden also features an igloo for plant propagation, an indigenous plant area, a children’s area, a sensory garden bed, chook shed, bunny enclosure and an orchard.
