Respite Care

If you are caring for someone with a disability, dementia, difficult behaviour or a palliative condition, it is important that you look after yourself, too.

At Kooweerup Regional Health Service, we have six respite beds available for both emergency and planned respite and two aged care respite beds funded through the National Respite for Carers Program. Through this program, you can take a much-needed break from your role as carer – for the benefit of both yourself and the person you care for.

Our respite clients are cared for by fully qualified staff, and are treated with utmost dignity and respect during their stay with us.
